What's the overall consensus on the new colors?

Now that the dust has settled...
Fathers day was a few days ago and I'm still without an Ivory kettle.
People just don't listen.

I've seen lots of pics of the new kettles, how many of you have purchased them?
Happy with it?

I'm trying to find some excuses to reboot the WKC channel and a new grill seems like a good one.

Larry

I'm also without an ivory kettle or a smoke, spring green or a slate blue. But I am in favor of the reboot!!

It's always better when you're cooking on a Weber!

I love my Ivory and Smoke, I want to support Weber and there willingness to bring us the colors, Tami likes the other 2 colors so I plan on adding them in the near future, just need to move a few out. Refire up that channel and let's have some fun !!
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Love my Ivory.  It will never leave center stage on the deck.

I ordered a green and a smoke. Both were damaged by fedex but Weber made it right. The lid vents seem to be really loose on them but will tighten up with more cooks. I already had a Canadian ivory although I would like the have the P style bottom vent. I may have to buy another ivory.

Got a spring green for the girlfriend and she loves it. She's used it about a dozen times. That's funny about the lid vents, the spring green we got is extremely tight

Got a smoke and I'm happy with it. It was my first Weber I ever bought brand new. Definitely happy with it.

ISO Red Outrider.

I got an Ivory and a Spring Green a few weeks ago. I like the Spring Green the best, just something about how loud the color is that draws my attention. I'll probably make the Ivory my dedicated rotisserie cooker.

I have to wonder if we will be getting different colors in a year or two.  I would really like a Robins Egg blue
EE Kettle, 1974 JBK-360 Key Lime "The Fairway" , DR Genesis Gold

My black Master Touch looks like somebody took a hammer to the bowl where the factory welds are, fairly deep round indentations all around it. Are the colored ones like that? All the pictures I've seen seem fairly smooth and flawless.

For now, the only new color I own is the olive colored one, in all the sizes (except a Ranch of course)

You know, olive colored, like the color in the picture.

I'll probably get one of the other new colors, but I thought the green looked kind of cool, also thought the slate looked cool.  But, then @Kneab said pictures of the smoke really doesn't do it justice & he said the only way he could somewhat describe it was like "black chrome" (I believe that was the phrase he used).  Then, the Ivory looks not too bad.  I really need to eyeball these things in person.

It really doesn't help any when you guys take pics after putting on different wood handles to spiff them up in various ways, because then I'm thinking, that handle really looks nice on that color, but so does that one.

Hal
