Outrider SJP question

There’s a cheap outrider on offer up with a mangled lid, I have an extra 18” kettle lid, are the lids the same? They look the same and if that’s the case I may get it and swap the lid, thanks Israel

I am pretty sure that the only difference between an Outrider lid and an 18.5" Kettle lid is the lid hook.
Swap out the handle and you should be good to go!

That’s great! My next question is that appears to be missing the side dampers are those replaceable?

The lid on an Outrider is just a 18" standard kettle lid.  The only difference is the lid handle having a groove.   The side vents are no longer available from Weber. You have to either make them yourself or find a WKC member that has an extra set they will let go of.

I think WKC member @randy makes replacement side dampers for the 18.5" Outrider.

seeing this reminded me that I'm a asshole, @foshizzle your vents are in my truck still.  I have enough aluminum to make three vents then I'll be out of aluminum.
