Newbie needs advice on NOS 70s 22”kettle
« on: May 13, 2019, 07:12:44 AM »
Hi! I’ve come across a NOS early 70s 22” kettle in black. I’d love to have it and was hoping someone could give me advice on what a fair price would be on it.

I feel that they are worth at least as much as a new 22 is, possibly more. So if it is $150 or less I believe that you are getting a good deal. Only problem is that you may have a hard time removing it from the box and actually using it. I have a 79 that has only been for inspection and repacked. I have others that can be cooked on.

Thank you Kneab!

I have a early 70’s readhead with rim rash and a couple of beauty marks on the lid but perfect bowl I use for cooking or an EZ date code SSP and a Performer with gas assist in the rotation. Yes, the one I have my eye on may just stay in the box.
