Any suggestions for HC internal ash pan hole repair?

Wondering if anyone has attempted to repair a rust through hole on a Happy Cooker internal ash pan & if it held up.

I'd say that you could use welds to fill in holes, since there's porcelain loss there anyway.  Low amps/higher feed speed.  Grind 'er smooth if you're worried about appearance. 
Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞
