Gen 2 Performer Cover

My sister's Gen 2 Performer needs a new cover.  On amazon, the KingKong covers are both better loved and less expensive than the Webber product.  My own experience with my Webber Original 22" Kettle cover bears this out.  It is kind of flimsy and blows right off the grill every time the wind blows hard.

Several people have posed on Amazon that the King Kong cover does not fit their older Performers well and speculate that the newer models must be shorter than the older ones.  Is this true?  Can anyone recommend a specific cover for a Gen 2 Performer.

The reason I think my sister's is a Gen 2 is because the thermometer is inserted diagonally into the lid through the handle.

The Performer grills are all the same dimensions, except the original stainless steel table(SSP). I personally like the "classic accessories" ravenna covers.

I have the King Kong cover for a gen 3 performer and its great.   I chose it because of the better reviews and the price is better than Weber.   The King Kong does not fade, crack, or blow off.  It also has a Velcro strap to secure it.  It feels more substantial than the Weber too.

Also most of the Kong covers come with decent tongs and a thermometer.

Ok, just checked out the Ravenna and the Veranda on Amazon, a 6 dollar price difference, anyone have any reviews on the Veranda?

Ravenna for me, can't beat the quality
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Easy

I have a  Veranda on my WSM and my AC unit for 2 years now snow, rain, wind sun, still looks like new when my cover for my performer gives I will buy one for it also.
I like that it stays flexable even in cold weather never stiff like the Weber models that i have had so far.
