The angle of this pic is throwing me off. With how small it looks and how much of the bowl is taken up by the baskets it looks kinda like a 18 but the bowl looks big and the lid looks kinda round. I dont care I guess but man a 18 would be nice.

I think 22.5".
Ash bucket looks like that and I have never seen a 18.5" OTP with a flip style grate.

Keep us updated! ;-)

Yeah, I think that's a 22...

Kick myself in the arse that I had a shot at buying an 18 a few years ago... at a car show swap meet of all places. Didn't have the room to drag it home. Dammit.
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Okay no one wanted to indulge my fantasy of 18... I am off to pick it up in 3 hrs. This was on facebook and craigslist for 100. I let it sit for a week assuming someone more motivated would pick it up for 60 or 70. Well I pick up my phone hit refresh after dinner last night and the lady had updated it to "$50 and I am motivated make an offer" (updated 4 minutes ago)... I had to shoot my shot and said $35 cash tomorrow and she said sold with all the stuff in the pic. It was at that point I actually started looking at what I got. I will get it cleaned and posted soon.

I picked up a black 18 a few months ago. It fit in my brothers backseat table and all. I still need to do something with that one or trade it. Black ones just aren't as fun to shine up tho.

Correct sir! 22 It is

One ding on the lid crest, a couple chips in the table, and a developing crack on the back of the table. Bowl and OT are in great shape plus 2 bags of charcoal. Note bad at all. I will get it cleaned and post it soon. It's in pieces already.

Alot of peel for such a newer kettle. I dont think it's an age thing anyway but my older kettles seem to have it more. (The LE has alot too tho)
