The family and I went on a little road trip to a little ghost town outside of Vegas today and there right outside of the main store was this poor Wood Dale that had been dropped into a table for people to use.  The bowl handles are missing, and you can see the lid condition...on the plus side all three Daisy wheels and two thumb screws were in tact!  Fight on little Wood Dale!

Oh wow!  Did you try and offer a trade for it?

Update...secured!  So this Wood Dale was in the ghost town of Nelson, NV, about an hour south of Vegas...I'd been meaning to go back for a long time, and finally this morning had the opportunity to go early as our international student who lives with us had to take the SAT test across town.  I figured if I already was driving half way there, why not go and ask if they'd be willing to trade.  I brought a nice H code brownie I'd gotten on OfferUp a while back, and walked in the store (they sell antiques and offer mine tours of an 1890s gold mine) and asked for the owner.  I told him who I was and that I collect Weber grills...I had a picture of my collection on my phone ready to go.  Then I told him what he had and that I'd love to restore it if he'd be willing to trade...and five minutes later it was in my Tucson.  It has had a hard life in a metal table in a place that regularly reaches 110 degrees in the summer.  It was used by people who came out to the ghost town and wanted to grill before moving on towards Lake Mead...mostly bikers.  It is missing both handles, but all the vents were operational and two of the three original thumbscrews were still there.  I straightened the top handle and put it up on the legs and ash pan of the H code, but eventually plan to put it on steel wheels and a correct ash pan.  I may even eventually find some handles and have them spot welded back on...Definitely a cooker, but it's no longer in danger of being tossed into a scrap heap any time soon! I'm calling it "The El Dorado" because Nelson is in El Dorado Canyon, which was an old gold mining district...and I think this is a real treasure!

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Sure beats the drive to Reno and back! It has a ton of character. The Nevada sun has a way of making things cooler.
