Looks grate.  I make breakfast on the grill frequently.   I've had mixed results with a kettle and I actually prefer my Genesis gasser as it seems the temp control is better.

It looks a little like OCD but this is how I set up the coals for a nice even heat on the griddle.
You can cook eggs and bacon and pancakes real easy with this. With this you won't burn the eggs and the bacon doesn't stick.
For higher temps add another row long ways and maybe 3 across the top.
Coals in the photo are Weber.. or your choice of good quality coals.

Trick here is.. don't go crazy on the coals!!
