Uline 22" black - the triangle
« on: November 17, 2018, 02:58:57 PM »

Okay, so I found nothing on this subject when I did a search.

Last Sunday, I rescued this kettle.
I felt compelled as I had negotiated with the seller.
And, it was local.  Listed for $50, and I got it for $20 !
Only one pic in the ad, however, I did not see the Uline logo.
This is my pic when I got it home and scattered the parts...

The lid and bowl cleaned-up real easy as it had barely been used.
The seller was a young guy and said, "I couldn't figure out how to work it."  Okay, no problem.

I didn't notice at first, but the triangle is not chrome plated.
It looks to be a triangle that is, or has been painted silver.
I highly doubt the seller did this... It looks professional.

So, my question is:  Is this normal for Uline 22" kettles ?

One other thing that I learned from this rescue. Some, or a lot of you may already know this.

When you want to separate the H-clip sweeps to give them a good cleaning,
pry-up that little tab on the #3 sweep, and they will come apart no problem.

Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.
