Grill/Prep Table

Not exactly Weber related, but figured i'd ask here, since you guys are a good source of info...  I want to add a prep-table to my patio.  Somewhere I can sit down food/trays, store accessories, etc.  Looking at the following options, but neither get really high-ratings/reviews.

Anyone own something like these, or if not, what are you guys using?

I use a 24" x 48" plastic folding table, steel legs, available almost anywhere. Look in the big box stores and get one cheap. I've had this puppy for many years, it sits outdoors all year and has held up very well. My storage is a small Rubbermaid shed right across from it. It ain't fancy, but gets the job done extremely well.

I currently use a small rolling wood cart.

Here are some options-

A) Get a Performer with a metal table.

B) Look on Craigslist/ FB Marketplace for cool old wood tables/carts.  Often you can find some interesting pieces that are either ready to use as is or that you can lightly sand and oil or stain.  I'm completely useless with handyman projects and teh two I've done gave me a sense of accomplishment and weren't that hard to do.

The second one I used Tung oil instead of Spar varnish-

The wood may not hold up with zero free maintenance but you don't have a ton of money into it.

C)  Store bought like the ones you mentioned.   

My suggestion is to try to find something that fits with the style of your house or the area where it's going.  If you make the area look fucked up it may not bode well for your Weber collecting in the future if the old lady is pissed off.

Yeah, I should mention, that as another (probably much more prominent) hobby, I am a woodworker.  I could (and plan to, eventually) build something, possibly a nice countertop with bar, sink, storage - the whole works, but right now, I just don't have the time.  However, in the spring, I plan to re-do our deck/backyard, and that may be a project that gets incorporated into the works then.  I am primarily looking for something temporary, maintenance free, and easy.  If woodwork if of interest to you, I go by SteinWoodworks on most social media platforms.

The folding table may not look awesome, but it is a high contender on the list at this point as it would certainly be cheap and easy...  and I think we actually have a 2'x4' that barely gets used, as its just too small for much else.  I may just put that outside full-time until I get yelled out. LOL

Edit - A while back, prior to us moving, I began to design a counter/bar for the patio.  I may have to revisit this idea.
