Jan M.

Hi friends,
to be honest I haven't posted "new" kettles for a while. Not because there were no kettles, I guess I have 10+ kettles more then my last post of a kettle, but I had the feeling and also some guys who told me the most stuff is now on FaceBook. I have no Facebook account and will never participate there so I decided not to post any new kettles because it's not worth the effort if the most guys using Facebook now.
Same thing with the pics or videos of the last meet up in Chicago. When I asked I got the answer check Facebook. The meeting before was nicely celebrated here in this super cool WKC forum and also some cool videos on youtube posted by Troy. This meet up ... more silence in the form in my opinion.

Now I red the thread Decline in WKC Participation: Thought's and Suggestions? and recognized that more people do not "support" Facebook.

So anyway ... here some pics !

After some R-R-R

Great Cleanup!!! Looks better than new.

That looks grate. I love the look of the rear legs on the European kettles. Reminds me of the wheelie bars on the back of dragsters.

Nice score. Love the highly reflective shine of the lid vent, legs and ash pan.  I know the hours that goes into getting them to that level of luster.  Glad to see you posting again.  I for one like seeing the different designs and colors offered outside of the US.  I do use Facebook but I know where the die hard Weber guys are at.  Right here on the Forum.

Facebook groups are wonderful quick ways to share but the forum is a tremendous searchable format and a tremendous resource for those sharing restoration techniques and categorizing different kettles, part and model numbers.  There's a place for both I hope people continue to share here.
