Ahh that's better and Brian can now sleep again knowing he has helped eradicate some  plastic handles
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Those plastic handles don't insulate welI cooked up some burgers last night on the performer, and the handle always gets pretty hot. Even when I had the RK roaring, the wooden handles don't even seem warm. It also captures the old vintage look. Thanks again Brian.

I was gonna say how that 22 WSM looked soooo cool with the wood handles.  It looks vintage with the wood on there.

Just a thought, Could the Thermometer bezel and the charcoal door handle on the WSM be made out of wood?

The door gets pretty hot as it is near the fire. The knob sits right on the door. This is the SS door from Cajun Bandit. It is a nice upgrade from the factory  aluminum one by the way.

Brian's wood handles...They look oh so choice....if you have the means...I highly recommend picking some up!  8)

They look great on your cookers! I especially love how they look on the WSM's.

I can't wait to get the wood handles that Brian made for me (scheduled at the WKC meetup this month!) I'm also looking for a pair of gray plastic handles to add handles to the mid section of my 22 WSM. It's a 2013 model so they're the dark gray.
kettles, smokers...
