Super happy today, my lovely wife went to an auction for me and picked up the beautiful Weber. There are a couple nicks in the lid frome moving, but is NOS with NOS accessories! Can anyone pinpoint the date for me please?

Are the wheels metal or plastic?

Awesome find!!!  Wheels appear to be plastic w/ rubber tread, so it's likely '70-'72(?).

Btw, that's a nice looking Ford truck in the background.  Weber made a kettle color that'd match up pretty nice.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

Patent number or pending on the lid vent?

Wow is this picture from 1969/70 also? Lol looks like this would be in a better home and garden ad in the late 70s

That's incredible!  Nothing left to do but squirt a bunch of lighter fluid on some charcoal, light 'er up, toss a couple of logs in, and roast some marshmallows!!!

Am I wrong, or is that beyond a normal "good find???"  Only been on the site for a couple of months... but NOS avocado?  That seems fairly extraordinary.  Museum piece?

Congrats!  (He said, unable to hide his jealousy...)

+1 There's a hook on the inside of the lid. Smh

Relax - I would venture to guess more damage has occurred by lids falling off their hooks than by setting a lid on concrete.
