Ended up making wings rubbed with Penzy’s Galena Street rub then tossed with traditional buffalo sauce. Then bacon wrapped jalapeños stuffed with smoked Gouda and a little Smokey.
The guys were blown away that you can actually “cook” food on a charcoal grill, not just burn the crap out of it. The chimney was a novel concept as well. There were doubts of how I’d get by without lighter fluid. Anyways, it was fun.
Fishing wasn’t the best, but I caught a really nice 17” smallmouth.
