I’ll stick with my 1979 Happy Hooker Cooker, thank you.

Most likely, it will be available in Europe 1st!So, you are right . I saw the new Master Touch with hinged lid on Spoga. It looks like standart Master Touch, but only for the first view. The lid hinge is quite massive, it works excelent. The lid fits excelent on the kettle, no gaps between. See another photos

I can be wrong but looking at the pics you can place the hinge there where the handle is located and v.v. This way the issue with the vent right above coals would be simply solved.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the defuser and want one ASAP.

My Happy Cooker has a hinged lid, but I haven't actually tried it yet.
@Martin75 It sounds like you saw it in person. There seems to be a lot going on with the hinge. I'm curious if it disconnects or "expands" so you can use a rotisserie ring. Any idea?See another photos
And if the price is somewhere at the level of standard MT I know what I will get for Xmas [emoji23]
Knowing that the lid can be removed I like it even more than yesterday[emoji6]
