Very nice dish here with a nice cayenne kick!  Cooked with a wonderful Other Half Go With the Flow IPA and consumed with a very nice Ballet of Angels white. It's a nice evening in CLT!

You got a recipe for that?

I used an 11" x 7" plank which perfectly fit 26 large shrimp without having to pile up. This dish had more kick than I expected (which I loved). Adjust the red pepper flakes accordingly.

Outstanding!  What was the wine choice?

It was a Ballet of Angles white from CT that my cousin brought me a few months back... a winery they have a connection to. I'm generally not a white wine guy but it was great with the shrimp.

That looks delicious, Nice job.

One question. Given that it was cooked indirect, did you soak the plank?

robs2

@Darko, I did soak the plank but only for about 30 min. Probably unnecessary.

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try soon.
