Unless it had a metal handle on the lid....but

I was at a garage sale & couldn't resist asking how much the 22" black 2nd generation? performer WITHOUT gas assist was.  (The one shorter in length than an SSP & with a grey fiberglass table).

Answer:  $3

So, I basically HAD to purchase it.  The handle is missing from the DD (datecode) LID & there is a slight dent underneath where the handle goes, but it came with a Weber chimney, a generic chimney & 2 coal baskets & hinged grates in good shape.  Other than the lid, it looked to be good shape.  I'll probably switch out a lid on it & give it to my brother.

Hal

I noticed a small crack in the light colored plastic piece on one end that spans between the front & back legs.  I should have been a tougher negotiator.  Maybe I could have gotten him to give me $5 to haul it away.
