As Being a left handed person,  I walk around the backside of the grill more than expected. 
this would be an awesome mod to a performer.
Other than the wheel location I'm going to look into it.

This one confuses the hell outta me!  I guess I never really thought about it, but even these old performers must have been sold in a box to be assembled by the owner.  Not only are the wheels caddywampus, but I bet since day 1 the owner of this wondered by Weber would put their logo/plaque on the back side of the grill!  But since I've never seen any other performers assembled so wrong I wonder how hard it would have been to screw this up!
