I'm trying to determine if mine is original, or at least original-ish. Mine has a round head machine screw and square nut. They like each other so much, they refuse to separate.
 ;D

I know there's a few of them here in the WKC. I'd appreciate a look at any one w/ known original hardware.

Yep, that's exactly what my 58 Custom has securing the ash pan to the front leg.  I only have a photo of the front of the screw on my PC, but the bolt is square and mine also is fused to the bolt. I will try and take a photo of the bolt and post it tomorrow.

thanks @Cellar2ful. The leg on mine has similar rust-through holes.
