Used it for a week on vacation. Passed all my tests w/ flying colors: Great size, low amount of fines, lights easy, low sparkage, stays hot long, no heavy smoke/odor.
At 30 cents/#, it's a deal.

This isn't the Cowboy right. I was going to try and use a gift card and do store pickup but dont see Western on their site. I know, dumb question!

It’s not Cowboy. Bought 2 bags but my Walmart hasn’t had any for a month. A one-and-done deal for them.
Yeah it’s good stuff.

Have y’all checked Academy Sports? They carry lots of Western branded wood chunks.

Finally picked up a bag tonight. 30 lbs for $10, good deal. Either its not a big hit here in Wi, or they just got a huge shipment in because there were two big pallets full. Hoping it will go on clearance in the fall.
Found the sku on Brickseek:

Just bought a bag at Walmart Manassas, VA. Still a whole pallet left. Had to hold back on buying more. Sure it will be around for a while.

Before going back for more the other day I checked Brickseek, and it said there were 158 bags or something. Since all the other stores around me showed none or at most 12, I figured BS was wrong. I called and after several mins. the person returned to the phone (miracle) and said they found an entire pallet. (2nd miracle)
I already have a couple hundred pounds of various charcoal in the garage. I don't need more, but this is my favorite fuel right now, so I picked up a couple more bags.
