Nice find CarrieAnn. If I was to guess, you've got a pre patent pending if those are holes for thumb screws I'm seeing in the leg sockets. Congratulations.
Can't wait to see it all cleaned up.

Thanks.  I got it for $25 on the FB marketplace.  I'm thinking somewhere around 1964-68. The tires are rubber with the metal rim.

The guy I got it from cleaned it all out so now it just needs a little love to get whatever rust off of it I can. It's got a couple of pretty good dings in the lid but since I didn't get it to put it on a pedestal, I'm totally fine with that.

She will be a cooker, and I think she will be one hell of a cooker at that! :)

If you put those wheels in a small bucket full of Evapo-rust  you will be amazed how good they can look. The paint that is gone is gone. But what is still there will look pretty good after the rust is removed. Rinse them off really well, mask off the rubber and clear coat them to prevent any further rusting. The proper nickel plated hubcaps can be found at Lowes for about a dollar each in the Hilman drawers.

Sweet score. Always nice to see these turn up.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Judging from the pictures alone, ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, ILL. BAR-B-Q KETTLE, thumbscrew holes on the leg sockets?, steel wheels w/metal axle caps, 2 rivet wood lid handle. If the 3 daisy wheel bowl dampers are solid (flat)

with no protruding reinforcement channels and has that little half round tab on it, my guess it's a '64.
