My daughter uses her toy Weber Kettle alongside me when I cook. When she's a little older I plan to teach her how to grill! That is great to pass on bbq'ing skills to the next generation of Weberholics.

My daughters, now 15 and 18, have been cooking and grilling since they were tall enough to see the grate at eye level and cooking since they could drag a chair to the stove to stand on. Now they regularly tell me tales of their friends who can't cook at all and come from families who don't cook. They pity them.  lol.

I'm sure I will be buying them each grills when they eventually live on their own. My oldest already says she wants a spice crate from Penzeys as her housewarming gift. ;)

Cooking brings people together and it's a wonderful thing to share with your children.
