Saw one on craigslist. Is 100 bucks to much? Has cover coal baskets and is not gas assist. Thanks

How is the condition?   $75-$100 seems reasonable for a sought after color with accessories.

@michaelmilitello  Condition looks good from picture. Little rust on the handle. I see the same performers for less money away from New England. I will check it out tonight. thanks

Got it. Was in West Newbury MA. Real nice shape and well maintained. Looking at the top vent it looks like an uppercase "O" under the patent number. Can not find my phone for pics. I have the original owners manual . Is there any place there for the age. Also the one touch setup is mounted with a thumb screw. Thanks

Personally I prefer the non assisted version of the Gen 1. I have a P code unassisted red. I think The five pound tank adds a lot of weight to the handles and makes it alot harder to move around in the grass.
Congrats on the pickup.

In the grass? Performers are for civilized usage. Concrete. Wood decks. That sort of thing. What are ya, some kinda philistine, dragging it around among the yard birds?

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Man that looks to be in vg shape. Nice score!

I use the gas assist less and less these days. For me, easier to use a Weber cube- set it and forget it.
