I think the person doing grate straps that day had to much to drink at lunchtime.

Funny...the exterior bowl handles (straps) on mine are a little wonky from the factory. Not what I would exactly call level/straight. Pretty sure they were all tack welded by hand back then?

Holy crap!  Those wheels look like they are from 1800's.  Really nice job on saving them Colin.

@Darko It looks like the inside of an oven. Like a blueish grey.

Never tried Blaster, but Kroil is great on any metal. Ive used it for years...and have loaned cans as well as gifted them. I usually buy it factory direct when they run a special, but it can now be had on Amazon for roughly the normal factory price. Silo-Kroil is great too!

Actually, one of the last times I used it was to get the stripped, rusted leg bolts out of Colin's Green Outrider before I shipped it to him.

As far as smell goes, I love PB Blaster.  That said, I find that Kroil works better to unstick stuck stuff.

Things we rarely see here in the Northeast- Yellows and Red 18s.  Now you have both.  Your hard work has paid off, congratulations.
