I can't help you size wise since my craycort is the 18" version the drip griddle has handles and is more forgiving with liquids meaning your grill doesn't have to be perfectly level but by the same token it is not meant to be placed over coals.
The craycort has no handles is heavy and the flat side is open, this thing is a beast and can take whatever you dish out, it can be placed indirectly or directly over the coals. For those lacking in forearms and biceps avoid this.
The only difference between the two is if you want to char your entire steak then get the craycort because it will get hot enough over the coals without warping.
