Hi friends,

Today I like to share my new pickup with you.
Its an N-coded green dream. Nearly flawless and a way brighter than my other green kettles.
The lid has nothing, absolutely nothing and this it just impressive for a used kettle with a age of 27 years.

Here some impressions.
I guess its one of my darlings as yet.

Best regards,
Jan

What is the plasticy looking thing between the handle and the bowl. Enquiring minds want to know......

"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

It is a metal plate with warnings and it sais (translated):

Attention! No alcohol, petrol or other comparable liquids for lighting or relighting the fire.

This warnings were common at this time.
Prior it was a plate on the grate.
Today it is a sticker on the front leg.

I completely understand. I myself have been the inspiration for many warning signs and company safety guidelines....just like old Gary..........

Love the older greens! Nice addition! I've got the red version of the same grill. N Code One Touch Plus. I've also got the green BAR-B-KETTLE N code (economy line) same bright green finish. Gorgeous!

HOLY GRAILS: 1950s era Black or Custom finish 18.5 or 22.5 Kettle, Brown Go Anywhere grill.

Love it. And you're finding things that are uncommon here in the States.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
