Old daisy wheel repair

Hello!  I’m cleaning up an old patent pending kettle with small tab daisy wheels.  The wheels turn freely but two are warped and seal poorly.  Are there any good way to fix the warped wheels?  Thanks.

Keep your hand on the opposite edge from where you are hammering, holding vent tight to the bowl.

I’m also in need of this information. Is it easy to drill the rivets out and install new vents? If I bought a set of newer replacement vents will they work?

Never drilled out a vent rivet. I have a couple wood handle rivets and it was easy. I bet it the same.

I considered that but I want to keep the small, single tab vents.  The replacements are like 22 WSM vents.

you could drill out originals clean and reshape and reattach keeping it close to original

These are the screws I've used on a couple of grills.
My local Ace carries them.

Looks a little dressier than a hex bolt or pan head screw.
