5th Wedding Anniversary Surprise Breakfast Cook

Today is me and my wife’s 5th wedding anniversary. One of her favorite things to do is sit outside on a nice morning and have her coffee. She also loves kettle-grilled food (she is the one responsible for turning me into a Weberhead) so I surprised her by taking the day off work to have coffee outside together while I made breakfast.

I got up at 6am like I normally do, and left at my normal time, but only so I could go to the store and buy the ingredients.

I grilled some homemade hash browns, breakfast sausage, onion, green pepper, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, Colby cheese, eggs, all topped with some black pepper. I also made some grilled mango. And let me tell you what.....

Grilled mango has changed my life! Oh man it was A-MAZ-ING!!

Then, washed it down with some super-pulpy OJ! My favorite ....but not so much with the wife.

Awesome stuff. I'm super intrigued by the grilled mango. Try grilling off the tomatoes separately first next time cut side down and dont touch them for at least 3-4 minutes. I love tomatoes charred on the cut side.
