I just revisited that. Thanks for the offer but mine has a lot more fade. That one is a nicer grill but I’m going for fade. Shipping or driving wouldn’t be worth it. I have 3 18’s. I was thinking I could cut the sockets off a rusted 18 along with a sizable circle of metal. I know the curvature will be different but maybe I can make it work.

Yes!  It’s very faded. I’ve never seen a gray but I’m almost certain this is a very faded black. That’s what drew me to it

She is almost ready to cook. I’ll have to look on here and see how you guys bolt vents on. I used 2 nuts in a jam nut configuration. I’m guessing there is a better way?

It’s ready for action. Special thanks to Travis. I finally found an appropriate home for those wood handles.  I’m glad to finally have a weathered warrior.

This is the first one I actually rescued. It definitely had one leg in the grave. Too bad I had to sacrifice one of my three black 18’s but it was incomplete and not in great shape. Better than this one though lol.

I painted the white walls and found some red hubcaps. I love the hubcaps but wondering if I should have left the wheels all black. Oh well. Maybe it will grow on me.
