It has been a rough week at work until I found 2 great bargains today.

First was a NIB Kettle Pizza Deluxe for $65. And he delivered it to me!  It was on my list of things to keep an eye out for but was not actively looking.

The second was a NIB Weber 2290 Rotisserie.  It has been at an open box store for a while originally $100 marked down to $20. Wow. My excitement was somewhat short lived. Checked it before paying, and there was no spit rod or counter balance. Has the ring and mount, motor, and forks. They took another 10% off so, I took a chance on it for $10, hoping I can find the parts.

Any help on locating parts for the rotisserie would be appreciated.  Or any info anyone could provide. I need to check and  see if any other hardware is missing.  What size rod?  length? diameter?   Weber does not sell the rod separately. Anyone have an extra one or one not being used?

This is somewhat local to me.  If the seller still has it, I can agent it for you.

Man.  Both awesome scores, but I'm incredibly jealous of the roti story!
Its amazing how quickly one weber kettle turns into more than a dozen!  Always open to grabbing something interesting so let me know what you've got!

Grillagin

Great scores!  Well worth it in both cases, especially the roti. I'm hoping deals will start popping up as Spring slowly progresses up here.

This is the only new rod I've found without a motor that is a direct replacement.  It doesn't have a counter balance but it is the correct length and stainless.

@drewz that one looks larger than the original. Are all the Weber rotisserie rods interchangeable?

Nice scores! I'm jealous of that KP Deluxe kit! I got a NIB KP non-deluxe for $65 and I thought I got a decent deal.

@Fat_legs  - If Weber customer service can't help you out, the one that @Seth1025  posted may be the way to go:  https://www.ebay.com/itm/222588267352?ul_noapp=true - the description states "this rotisserie shaft (spit stick) is designed as a direct fit replacement shaft for the popular Weber 22 1/2" charcoal grill rotisserie"

@Fat_legs I did get the one off eBay.   Weber customer service only sells replacement motors and would not sell me a spit rod.  I also ended up getting this kit with a bushing and counter balance to go along with the stainless rod.  Onlyfire 6006 Grill Replacement Rotisserie Meat Forks(1-Pair) Kit with Spit Counter Balance and Bushing-Fits 1/2" Hexagon & 3/8" and 5/16" Square Spit Rods https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0118KV4BO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_AdqsCb769HR2E

@Seth1025 , cheers man, looks like i'll be going down this route too! Appreciate the feedback.

This is the only product I've come across where Weber will not replace a single component, not sure why this is...

They used to sell spit parts.  I've bought handles and weights and the retaining loop.

Looks like only the bracket and forks may be available directly from Weber Parts:
