Gga cracort question

Guys with the gas go anywhere and the special for gas go anywhere cracort grate do you still need the flavorizor or no? I'm refurbishing one and if I don't need the flavorizor that would be swell cuz the flavorizor + new grate is the same price as the cracort grate. Lmk thanks

Looks like they make 2 models.  The grates for the go anywhere gas look similar to the Weber Q grates that do not require a flavorizor as the shield is built into the grate.

Question: Is any heat deflector needed or does this grate distribute heat evenly enough to not need one?
Answer: No heat deflector needed, it works similar to the new enameled grate that the go anywhere ships with now.
