Fingers crossed
« on: February 03, 2018, 01:06:28 PM »
Ran into a gentleman says he has a grill from the 60s or 70s that is orange.. Did anyone make an orange grill other than Weber?? He says it is a Weber and is Cleveland Browns Orange. I asked if it had a wooden handle or plastic and he said wooden... I am drooling at this point.. I asked how much? He said 20 bucks I said sold... The downfall is it is in storage and he will not get to it for 6 weeks... He sells mattresses for a living and said there's a hundred and twenty mattresses in front of it but it is mine... The only thing I did not ask was if it had animals on it..lol I am hoping it is what I am thinking[emoji120] [emoji120] [emoji120].. the longest 6 weeks of my life

Maybe you should offer to buy all of the mattresses to get in there sooner!  I could use a Queen and maybe some of the other members need a mattress too. ;)

Lay low. If you keep asking he might start to wonder what he really has back there.

Portable kitchen offered orange and avocado in the early 1970's.  Also, I believe Strutco offered a round orange grill.  I believe the name was "Sunburst".  All of the above mentioned were made of cast aluminum.  They don't resemble a Weber product.
