Taking Some Birds For a Spin

Finally found time to put some chickens on the rotisserie and take them for a spin. With the wife and kids all sick over the past 4 days, it's been a rough weekend. They are all better now and it was a nice mild day to fire up the kettle. The meat was excellent and subsequently broken down into large pieces (breasts, legs, wings, etc.), some smaller pieces for soup/salad, and a bag bones for an upcoming broth.

Cheers everyone!

Thanks! It's a 26" Cajun Bandit Rotisserie on a 26.75" kettle.

I keep saying that I've gotta try that.  Then I go Sam's and see their rotisserie birds for under five bucks . . . the same, or less, than their uncooked birds . . .

But you've got me leaning back in that direction.  Thanks ! ! !

I understand that point of view. My local costco does the same. Their birds are so good.

Roti boids at BJ's and Costco around here are not bad. Mine are better tho... 8) :)

Yeah, from the price point it's the same to buy a raw bird for $5 or a cooked bird at Costco for $5. Costco ones aren't bad, but my wife swears the rotisserie birds are juicier and taste better.

I have no doubt, @hawgheaven and @Mike in Roseville, that your birds are far superior to the mass produced variety, as I hope mine would be.
