Can anyone tell if this is a vortex? The people selling it are not sure of the brand. They say it is brand new and heavy. I can get it for $20

I can't tell. It's proportions do seem off compared to my medium vortex but maybe this is the small or large vortex. There's nothing in the picture for size reference.

Actually it does look proportioned right. Here is a picture of my medium vortex. Looks the same to me.

Since neither of you know what it is, tell him you'd be willing to spend $10 and take a flyer on it to see if it will work ok for you.

I got it. Not sure if it's a vortex but is pretty heavy duty. Not sure if vortex is welded like this or just a solid rolled piece. Either way I'm excited!!!

It looks better than a real vortex. Mine only has 3 or 4 spot welds. Yours looks like it could be welded better.

Oh I'll post pics for sure. He was asking $30 and agreed on $20 if it was what I wanted when I got there to check it out. The quality seemed good so I figured $20 was fair.
