Grillaholics Burger Press
« on: December 05, 2017, 12:19:58 AM »
Hey all.  I looked into burger presses, and decided on the Grillaholics.  The reviews on Amazon were great, and along with this vid from them, I thought this would work for me.  I tried it for the first time this past weekend at the cabin.  It really worked great!  It takes a bit of elbow grease to grind the meat and stuffings all together, but its worth the effort.  My first attempt was with cheddar, Swiss, bacon and onion.  With the extra gooey innards, I didn't want to get them too hot, so cooked them indirect until up to temp, then finished with a sear over the coals.  They came out awesome!  That was two pounds of ground chuck, BTW. The outer plastic stuffer gets greasy, so use a paper towel to get a grip.  The burgers come out in a perfect size to work with.  I noticed no signs of poor quality, and recommend this to anybody here.
