Simpsons Kettle color change?
« on: December 26, 2017, 08:13:52 PM »
Anyone have pictures of a Simpsons kettle warmed up? Do these change color like the old yellows? I'd love to have an old yellow but can't afford one.

I do not believe the simpsons kettles change colors. If they do it is not as extreme as an old yellow. Hopefully someone has a picture to back this up.

I have never noticed a color change in my Simpson’s kettle, and it there is it’s not enough to tell.

I spoke to someone who works for Weber they told me that weber was forced to make a yellow formula that did not change color.

I had one.  It got a little "tone", but it never really changed.

Thanks for all the replies, maybe I'll get lucky and find an affordable yellow one day.
