Roti butt in the blue
« on: December 13, 2017, 02:57:35 PM »
Aldi butt that comes boneless and bound. Great for the roti.  The wife brought it home tonight and said she had been missing pulled pork so I went right to work. Put it on at 6. Figured a 70’s blue would cook it fastest. Not sure how long it will take but probably at least 5 hours. We’ll see.

Another live action so I’ll post more later.

It's always better when you're cooking on a Weber!

I do. It’s embarrassing how dirty it is. It looks a lot better cleaned up. It’s kind of a dull blue right now but I’ve been using it regularly.

And Three wheelers are great on the roti.

This was crazy good. 4 hours. Took it to 175 internal and sliced with a carving knife.

That looks perfect. Slices are a nice change of pace -- and make for great sammies!

Absolutely. The blue shaved at least 2 hours off the cook time.

Looks great!
Wonder if you could take it all the way to pulling temps?
