I'm still working on my first Redhead restoration http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/1986-22'-red-kettle-restoration/ and then I came upon another Redhead on CL for $5.  I picked it up yesterday and it's a 1991 model.  It's in very good condition all the way around and not beaten to a pulp like my 1986 RH.  This one is just missing the grate, has a bent lid handle, and busted/missing wood handles.  I spent some time cleaning it today and it cleaned up super nice.  I still need to go to home depot for a grate.  I'm going to try to sand down and clean up the handles from my 1986 and use it on this one.  After I'm done with this one, it will be a Xmas gift to a good friend who I believe will appreciate having a RH.  I'm keeping the my other one as a backup to my blue performer.
