Weber smokey mountain center section

Will Weber sell just the center section? I have a 18.5 I got second hand and the center section is screwed up.

I would think so. They replaced one for me under warranty a while back.

Is the Weber warranty transferable? That would be awesome. But i think you will need a receipt for the whole WSM to get coverage or the lid with a serial number on the vent (I think that's where it was on my WSM).

Pricing on the center "ring" is surprisingly expensive. I think the lid and bowl on a 22 are ~$100 plus shipping and the center ring ~$250 plus shipping.

Such a deal and that is the older "2009" model (sans grommet hole?).

The 22.5 is even more @ $246.
