Tore the badge off and matched it at work today, I’ll give the exposed metal a polish later on when it hardens up more.

All of this .. outstanding. No lie --- these are surely some of the finest Weber examples extant. Simple, clean, right.

That blue logo, was that a previous iteration you'd done? Looks quirky and neat in its own way.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

That was bears addition to it during its time with him. I’ve had this for all of a week and have had something new happen in regards to it each day.

Last Thursday- unbox the ssp
Friday- clean up the framework, tabletop etc
Saturday- rebuild the framework
Sunday- clean and detail bowl and related parts
Monday- gas bottle delivered, prepped for paint at work
Tuesday- have tank painted, baked and taken home
Wednesday- 3/8lh to pol adaptor elbow for gas got delivered, badge removed from ssp
Thursday- badge stripped, prepped, painted, raised parts razored and polished back with 2000 grit, reinstalled.

I guess scotchbrite and stainless polishing is next on the list
