22" kettle smoker kit
« on: February 15, 2017, 12:05:37 PM »
Hi

just bought The Dish, a smoker kit that converts any 20" or 22" kettle into a first class smoker.
turned out some awesome belly chunks and beef ribs. it can cook low and slow for up to 15 hours without the need to re-fuel...

That is a good idea to allow the use of the whole grate for food while still having a snake method of smoking, use of water pan and built in diffuser

More product-placement, than review, yes? I mean, you bought your own product it seems.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

It seems indeed like a product placement ... As far as I am concerned I just wanted to know if the idea is good or not for smoking. It seems to be a simple kind of ring with a bowl, pretty easy to replicate/DIY ...
