SNS + No Kettle Pizza + Wood = :)))

So my first cook with the DIY home made SNS was a pizza. I do not have the kettle pizza, so have used the method used in the post below (thx !!), but with the SNS and wood  :

I have used one full lit lump charco chimney added to half chimney non lit charco and added wood after 45 minutes heating. Also placed some charco right under the stone.

As you will see in the pics below, I placed the lid off by putting it on the extreminty of the pizza stone which was sitting on two fire bricks (As I do not have the KP). The result was a good fire, a very hot stone, and a pizza cooked in 6 minutes !  :))

What size Kettle are you using? 26"?

22,5 inch. But the home made SNS is bigger than the original.

I just noticed the Farenheit red numbers/markers nearly disapeared from the lid thermometer after the pizza cook. Anyone had this issue ?

Round 2 tonight. The pizza was soooo good !

Topings:
Caramelized oignons, mushroom, mozzarella, Italian dried tomatoes.
