Halloween dizzy lamb
« on: October 31, 2017, 04:48:25 PM »
Annual Halloween cook was on today. It was perfect out. Not a cloud in the sky, 55 degrees, and a little wind. Perfect fall day. The 2 cookers of the day and my butterfly. Also first time using the performer.

Got the SNS+ set up.

Warming up the cherry chunks.

Pork loin, cut off the rib roast end a later cook.

Holding 250, ready to go.

Now it’s time to get the lamb ready and the veggies for underneath.

Ready to spin, holding around 325. 1 small piece of apple per others suggestion.

All done, 135 in the middle, time to rest for 20 or so minutes.

Pork loin is done too.

Pork cut up.

Lamb cut up.

Would have had more pictures but people were hungry and starting to yell at me. Best lamb I have ever had. So juicy and the perfect amount of smoke. Only change I would make is get a bigger one next time cause there was not any leftovers.

Man, that lamb looks incredible and your loin slices, perfect. I’ve only tried lamb chops before. Gonna have to try to spin one.

It really was incredible. I nailed it on my first try. Everyone that ate it had seconds or thirds and my sister in law offered to buy some for next time they come over so I can cook it for her.
