I recently acquired a red g code 85 charcoal go anywhere.  jebiv, who owns one, and Neil_VT00, who wrote an article for this site about the history of go anywhere grills, provided some interesting information about this grill. My neighbor who is a mechanic also noted that the color is snap on red...anyway, my understanding is that these grills were only produced in 1985 and were not available for retail sale.  Rather, they were only distributed as a promotional item to persons....like jebiv...who bought certain snap on tools....so how many are out there is seemingly unknown....the top handle says snap on and the side handles say weber.  No lettering or logo on body of grill.
.condition of grill..not perfect but pretty good for a grill produced in 1985 that has been lightly used.
The grill was not extensively cleaned by me. Just hit it quickly with some 0000 steel wool and dawn dish soap. Nothing else yet.
Thx for looking

Looking good.   Cool color!  How were the grates?   That seems to be the thing with the portables.  Grates can be expensive for such small surface area.

That is one fine specimen of a very limited edition grill
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill
