The Mighty Vintage Weber Griddle and Chicken Fajitas !!!

About 3 months back I was looking generally on letgo with keyword as Weber and this Griddle popped up. All it mentioned was that it was used on Weber Grills by her Dad - Listed for $75 and I tried for $50. She said her dad passed and she is cleaning the house and is OK, but her sister doesn't want to sell due to sentiments, but she will confirm the address etc in the morning. Till this time I didn't know its Weber Griddle. Anyways, No message in the morning , sent to @Mr.CPHo and he pinged as well trying to help. She mentioned that 75 is the last price to him. Well few minutes later I followed up again and Deal was done.

She didn't find or Had Metal Dome (not sure if anyone else in WKC has who would like to part ).

Story - Her dad purchased in 70's when they used to live in Philadelphia and he used it for morning breakfast (screenshot of story below).

Used it today for Chicken Fajitas - Skinless, boneless thighs mixed with Cajun, Lemon pepper, Yogurt, Oil, Some Indian Tandoori Masala. Pepper, Salt. Rest of the story my pics and small video will tell.

Looks amazing!  Love the griddle and the eats!  Wish I could have been your neighbor with the smell wafting next door!  On the other hand, maybe it's better that I'm not!

That's nice. I picked up some sort of cast iron griddle a couple years back that was clearanced, but I don't believe it covers the whole grill like yours. (I say believe because I've not yet opened the box)

What Chiku18 modestly omitted is that the seller of the griddle also sold him the Web which he gifted to me.  The seller also has a vintage wok which she isn't relinquishing.

Thanks Charlie - also got CnT ring and vintage rib rack. Tried hard for wok but Seller's sister didn't wanted to , which I respect due its sentimental value.
