I like it. It gives me some insight on how it works.

These thermos are water proof.  The only waterproof weber thermo.

Also I've tested this style and mine is very accurate. These alone make me want to collect older master touch grills, however I've not seen a single one come available in my area.

I do see gen 2 performers pop up once in awhile which is how a acquired the one grill I own with this thermo.

Great pics, HFG!  A picture says a thousand words ... 

I happen to have two of this style thermometer that measure in degrees Celsius only ... Rather useless, IMHO.
One was from a MT+, and one from a Genesis Jr .... The only thing that I like Celsius for is the ambient temperature.
That's right .... For you 'muricans, 32 degrees here is not freezing .... It's really effin' hot ... 

I would have no problem carving up one of these in the dog-days of winter .... I need to get my hands dirty.
