First rotisserie attempt on rehabbed cado
« on: October 06, 2017, 07:06:26 PM »
Hey all, I'm posting from our cabin in northern Minnesota. I thought it would be a good time to try out the rotisserie on the family cado that I am still working on. A roast with just salt and pepper sounded good. I was right. It was just slightly over done, but was still plenty juicy, and great with horseradish. Great time of year to be up here.

Everything looks amazing! Vacation home or rental? I’d love to visit that area. Looks quiet and peaceful.

Thanks. Its the family cabin.  I helped my Dad build it, starting in the mid 1970s. No public access to the lake.  Boated everything, besides the logs, from the opposite shore in the pic. No road until 1987. No electricity until around 2000. Peace and quiet depends on who else is up there, and what they are doing.  Had fireworks next door on Sat. night that vibrated the whole cabin.  It gets pretty quiet in the winter.  Lots of grouse feeding under my bird feeder this year.
