Not sure if this is good stuff or not.  But, if I get down to this area, I am interested in picking up some and trying it out.

@JEBIV , I have one a little over 1/2 hr away.  If I know I am going down in the area (Cartersville) I sometimes check on-line to see if anything interesting in on sale.  You have one near you?

You are fortunate.  My town is a great place to live, but not as convenient at times.  At least there is no traffic here (cough....Atlanta...cough).

It is pretty good. I have been using it here and there for a while now. The size of the briquettes are huge.

I've never used their briquettes, but B&B oak lump was my go to for a while. Looks like the outdoor gourmet is just rebranded royal oak.

I use the Oak Lump B&B from Wally world in Lawrenceville, GA. I wonder if this is a Southeast regional offering?

I did purchase this stuff and so far, so good.  Very large briquettes, and much less ash than lots of briquettes I have used.  Also the smoke when in the chimney is less pronounced than KBB and RO.  I haven't paid too much attention to time and temp yet.  But, will zero in on that when I have a chance.
