Aldi party pack brats
« on: September 16, 2017, 06:58:34 PM »
Anybody ever pick these up? My wife always picks up at least one package of em. I very much prefer specialty brats from my local butcher, but 12 original brats for $3.99 = you can't beat the deal! Makes me never want hot dogs. We usually cook 6 and freeze 6 for another time.

These cook up great and I do not notice an excessive amount of grease. If you get a chance to pick a package up, do it!

I cooked them indirect last night. Here's the finished product.

I've bought them and they're quite good. We get local butcher shop brats and I never simmer those in beer as we often get flavors like pineapple and bacon and we simply want those grilled. If I'm simmering in beer, I use the ALDI brats. :)

Those look darn good! And from what I understand, Aldi tries to source fairly decent product so you can't go wrong! We're getting one by us soon!

You will love your Aldi. It's owned by Trader Joe's and they do a really good job by eliminating chemicals and artificial stuff in your food. They also have a great baby section and GF section. Plus, it is a small store so it is easy to find what you need, at a great price, and get outta there and back to your grill.

ALDI is the shit when it comes to grocery stores. We save a good bit of money there and their meats aren't terrible.
