How do you guys mount a smoke probe in a rotisserie attachment on a kettle for oven temp?

I haven't tried it yet, but I'd probably run it between the roti ring and the lid (gently rest the lid on it).

You could conversely run it from the bottom through a daisy wheel or OT vent (assuming you banked or used a basket) on the opposite side.

@Joetee , dont usually monitor the "oven" temp... just the food temp. run the wire like this  https://www.flickr.com/photos/varekai/albums/72157689150853385

For the Smoke there is a clip that attaches to the grate.

Yes I know but the grate is to far down below the rotisserie.

@varekai, very clever setup ! ! !

@Joetee, I've just gotten mine and have only used it twice.  Both times I took my my Maverick probe, with the clip attached, and draped it over the spit.  The weight of the clip kept the probe from rolling back over.
